Voting now LIVE for People’s Choice Award at Reds Gala Ball St.George Queensland Reds fans will become selectors for the day and go in the running to win the ultimate Reds Gala Ball fan experience simply by voting for their ‘People’s Choice Award’ winner online. Voting is now live for the 2013 People’s Choice Award with supporters given the opportunity to nominate on a 3-2-1 basis which player they believe made the biggest individual impact on the team’s recent Super Rugby campaign. The winner will be announced at the Reds Gala Ball on August 30 with one lucky voter also being given the opportunity the present the award to their hero on the night. The annual black-tie experience is Queensland Rugby’s showpiece event and in 2013 will celebrate the efforts and highlight moments from the Reds season, farewell Super Rugby championship-winning coach Ewen McKenzie, and preview the exciting dawn of a new Reds era under Head Coach Richard Graham. Queensland Rugby’s Night of Night’s will also recognise the achievements of many players, coaches and volunteers, while also giving guests the chance to secure their very own piece of Reds history with a number of exclusive and unique Reds auction items and experiences available during both live and silent auctions. The People’s Choice Award is one of seven awards to be presented during the event, which culminates with the announcement of the prestigious Pilecki Medal for Players’ Player of the Year.
