Voyager 1, launched some 36 years ago, is the first man made object to exit the solar system. It has 1/240,000 the computing capacity of an iPhone, uses as much power as a refrigerator light bulb to transmit data which takes 17 hours to reach the earth and, literally, an 8 track tape recorder for data storage. Read down to where they had to get a 77 year old retired NASA engineer to reprogram it remotely. Carry on, little dude.
