WALGETT MAN TO FACE COURT OVER MOTORBIKE OFFENCES About 4.10pm on 7 August 2013, a 24 year old male from Walgett was seen by Police to be allegedly riding an unregistered yellow dirt bike along a footpath on Duff Street Walgett. He was not wearing a motorcycle helmet at the time. The male was stopped by Police and after speaking with him, he submitted to a roadside breath test which returned a positive result. The male was arrested and conveyed to Walgett Police Station where he underwent a breath analysis which returned a reading of 0.075. The male was given a court attendance notice for the offences of “Drive with low range PCA”, “Unlicenced Driving”, “Driving an unregistered motor vehicle” and “Rider not wear a fitted motorcycle helmet” and will appear at Walgett Local Court on 10 September 2013.
