WALLERAWANG Power Station will be mothballed next March claims - TopicsExpress

WALLERAWANG Power Station will be mothballed next March claims AWU. The Australian Workers Union says part of the Wallerawang Power Station, in the states Central West, has been shut down. The facility was bought by Energy Australia in July and at the time the company guaranteed it would remain open for four years. But the unions western region organiser, Alan Haynes, says staff have been told the facility will be mothballed by next March. He says it is difficult to try to respond to the news, because Energy Australia wont make an official statement.
