WANT TO FREE MY MIND THIS MORNING - When that university lecturer who was compelled by her husband to eat human faeces reported her ordeal, the next moment, it was in the media and some people were blaming her for not being able to keep the secrets of her marriage-that means she is a bad wife and not that the man rather is a monstrous husband o. Then this our young sister politician also reports an alleged physical abuse and theft by her man. Again, it was in the media and people are blaming her as well for being the bad one. Some even want to know where she got the money from. That is a secondary matter koraaaaa. When I hear such NONSENSE from IRRESPONSIBLE BACKWARD THINKING mouths I get very very angry. People say because I am not married, I wont understand some things-really? I beg this kind of understanding die3 you wont even find me dead having it. As a society, we must learn to lay the blame where it has to be otherwise, these BEASTS of men (who are undoubtedly a disgrace to manhood) will continue to be the heroes. My beef this morning is not even with the men who allegedly perpetuate this disgraceful act but our beret brothers and sisters whom these sisters of ours may have gone to for protection but the information finds itself flying in the media the next moment. This attitude, if you ask me amounts to EMOTIONAL ABUSE. So the next moment another beast of a man would do this to another sister and she wont go and report because she doesnt want it to be in the media though she desperately want the man punished for his actions. You see, as for me, I think as soon as a man decides to act like a wild animal, he should immediately be caged no matter his status in the society. But the big question is who will help our vulnerable sisters. All I ask, demand, request (you can add yours) is that we must be served with integrity and total professionalism when we call on our beret brothers and sisters. As many as are in favour say aye and those against say nay.
