WAR AT THE ETIHAD!! MANCHESTER CITY SET TO TAKE ON CHELSEA! Its definitely going to be Clash of the Titans tonight as Manuel Pellegrinis Manchester City go to WAR with Jose Mourinhos Blue Army at the Etihad Stadium in an encounter billed to be fiercely contested. A trip to the Etihad has become a daunting place to travel. Manchester City have swept all before them at the ground in the Premier League this season, winning 11 home games so far and scoring 42 goals in the process... Some people say Etihad na slaughter ground.... LOL! Manchester City top scorer Sergio Aguero is out of this clash. He joins playmaker Samir Nasri and midfielder Javi Garcia who are also out due to injuries. Midfielder James Milner could be back in contention after a groin problem. Contrary to claims popping up on social media, Yaya Toure is not suspended. In fact, nobody is suspended for either team. Meanwhile, Mohamed Salah could be included in Chelseas squad. The Egypt winger trained with his new team-mates on Friday for the first time since joining from Basle. Striker Fernando Torres remains out, while midfielder Marco van Ginkel is a long-term absentee. Apart from this, Mourinho has a fit squad to go into this battle. No team has been able to emerge from the Etihad Stadium with a clean sheet this season, but having overseen goalless draws at Old Trafford and the Emirates already this campaign, Jose Mourinho will certainly have Chelsea lined up to claim a unique hat-trick of shut-outs. Whether Mourinho’s stifling tactics will work against the most formidable attacking unit the Premier League has seen is another matter, however. It will be a face-off between the best attack in the EPL and the meanest defence. Presently, Chelsea boast of the tightest defence. The last time Chelsea won at the Etihad was in September, 2008 with Robinho scoring for City on his debut. Frank Lampard, Ricardo carvalho and Nicolas Anelka all scored for Chelsea to ensure they ran away with 1-3 winner. On this very clash, Arsenal fans are divided on the anticipated result. While some want a Chelsea win, others want both team to settle for a draw. Due to yesterdays win, Arsenal currently sit top of the log with 55 points. City are 2nd with 53 points and Chelsea are 3rd with 50 points. Make Una begin do the permutations..... LOL! It promises to be EXPLOSIVE! Kick-Off Is 9pm Nig. Time. What Do You Expect From This Clash?
