WAR GAMES: Early this morning, as the fog cleared and the sun came over the horizon, the staff of Volume One quietly filed into a stealthy black limo and rode to our final destination: The First Strike Paintball Fields in Chippewa Falls. It was our annual End-of-School Field Trip, and this time we meant business. There was sweat. There was blood. And there were even a couple heroic barrel rolls. In true warrior fashion, we left nothing on the field and fought bravely until the final ammo had been spent. All that plus some burgers make for a decent way to spend 3/4 of your work day... Happy 4th of July.
