***WAR JOKE*** Ok, under ALL the tension we are under here, the BOOMS and explosions heard and seen, and the Red Alert Sirens warning of incoming missile fire from Gaza, I thought I would post this funny video (at least for Israelis, it is) about the after-effects and trauma we have, or PTSD from the war. ...Because after being in a constant state of alertness, because we never know when we are going to have missiles flying towards us, we all get a bit jumpy when we hear something that MIGHT sound like a siren. - And I know a lot of you Israelis reading this will concur and laugh when you see this video below. For those who do not speak Hebrew, when you hear the people say something that sounds like: Azakah it means siren and Mah Zeh Haya means What was that? ...and they are asking it because they hear something that sounds like it might be a siren. Also, when traveling on the roads, if someone hears an Azakah or siren, homefront command instructs us to leave the car and find shelter, and if there is no shelter, to lie down on the ground and put your hands on your head to protect yourself from shrapnel that the rockets and missiles carry. When the rockets and missiles slam into Israel, they make a giant hole in the ground or structure that it hits and then the shrapnel explodes up and out, like the letter V. This is why it is best to lie on the ground below the impact of the shrapnel that explodes out. So anyway, take a break and lets laugh at ourselves a bit.
