******* WARNING RANT ******* If your not interested just keep scrolling lol Randy & I have been entertaining the idea of adopting a small dog. Preferably a Yorkie. Rant part 1 .... I have applied to several different adoption sites. I fill out the apps do everything they ask for, give them the reference you name it and I tell them which dog we are interested and I never hear back from them. The dogs we are interested in are removed from the sites ( great they were adopted) but then there are several more ... well here is someone waiting to adopt and they never get back to me I email I call leaving messages. WTF I thought these places were here to find these dogs a new home.. I am frustrated with the lack of respect from these places. They dont have a facility to go sit on the doorstep lol these dogs are all in foster homes. I know good things come to those who wait, but still frustrating !! RANT 2 I have been looking on the local shelters sites as well and it is depressing me because the majority of dogs are PitBulls. If we had enough room Id want to adopt as many as we could. I am frustrated at the owners of those dogs that have given them up & the people that have raised them wrong to be vicious and now these poor dogs have such a bad rap & people are afraid to adopt them. Breaks my heart.. I want to volunteer at my local shelter but I know how I will be and I will get to attached and be bringing some home.. Which wont go over well lol Grrrrrrrr Some People just Piss me off !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OK RANT DONE YOU MAY RETURN TO YOUR NORMAL SCROLLING
