WARNING: You are about to read an extremely mushy (even for me) post. Thinking about this weekend, and so excited for Sadye and the OHS Varsity Poms, and very excited and thankful that I get to go to. There is that saying that you always want more and better for your kids than you had, and there is some truth to that. I am not saying I had an unhappy time growing up...quite the opposite. I was always kind of quiet (untill you get to know me) awkward, klutzy, happiest with my nose in a book and sometimes living a bit to much in my own little world. But I had a wonderful family who tried hard to give us everything we needed and wanted, grew up knowing we were loved...and even though at times they didnt (and still dont LOL) understand my wack-a-doodle....they still let me be me. I am really in awe of my daughter at times, though. She outs herself out there...puts her mind to things, and doesnt let anything stand in her way. Life knocked her down a bit the beginning of this school year, and she took some time, sorted it out, thought about it...and came back like a boss. She is taking advantage of what school has to offer: poms, dances, plays etc...stuff I wish I couldve done...but was too awkward and shy....and she lets nothing stand in her way. I am really proud of that...I am so happy she has that power in her. Unlike her awkward, goofy mom. Love you Sugar Booger...always know that!
