WARNING about MAILBOXES! I stopped by the post office on Veterans Day at 6:30am on the way to work to mail a check to a vendor and found all three boxes so stuffed you could reach in and pull out the mail! It was a federal holiday, so no postal employee was clearing the boxes. I tried in vain to get the attention of hundreds at work in the sorting warehouse and finally called the police department to ask them to call over there and get those boxes emptied. The danger is that someone could steal the mail filled with peoples personal information and checks! ALWAYS check to see that your mail drops and is not sitting within reach! NEVER just put your envelope on top of a visible pile within reach! Obviously the US Postal Service doesnt give a crap about identity theft, but you should!
