Commentary: Police found George Zimmerman behind a store just sitting there. When police called the owner, they found out Zimmerman had permission to be there because their store had been robbed several times. Would this make you feel safe? Former neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman was spotted back on patrol this weekend in Central Florida, this time outside a store in Deland that sells motorcycles, guns and ammunition. In dash cam video recorded by police officers, you can hear them call the stores owner to make sure Zimmerman had permission to be there. George is a personal friend, Pat Johnson, the owner of Pompano Pats, said in a statement to CNN. My store was robbed recently and George was just keeping an eye on things as a friend.
