WC WEDNESDAY CLUB BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT I. ELIGIBILTY 1. Only Wednesday Club Members are allowed to play on this tournament. 2. Players are required to pay their respective due account in order to play on this tournament II. TEAM COMPOSITION 1. Teams are composed of 11 & 12 members & all players must play via a “Barangayan system” 2. Team with only 7 players until the end of the 2nd quarter, automatically lost the game. 3. Team with only 8 players until the end of the 2nd quarter will automatically give 10pts to opposing team. III. UNIFORMS 1. Team must wear their (DECLARED) complete uniform. 2. No Team/Player shall be allowed to play without wearing the proper uniform. IV. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Teams will submit names of their TEAM LEADER (2 players) before the start of the tournament. TEAM LEADERS must know the rules & regulation of the tournament and must see to it that they are in total control of their players 2. Only TEAM LEADERS of the playing team are allowed to stand & make necessary verification/complaints during and after the game. V. TEAM DESCIPLINE AND CONDUCT OF PLAYERS 1. Team must be in the playing court Ten minutes (10min) before the playing schedule time. In case the TEAM is not complete/show up after a grace period of ten minute (10min), the team will lose the game by forfeiture. 2. Call time: 6:15 First Game: 6:30-8:00 Second Game: 8:00-9:30 3. Players who are under the influence of liquor or any prohibited substance are not allowed to play. 4. A player/s shall be disqualified from the tournament if: a. He commits 2 technical foul in the entire tournament. b. He commits 2 unsportsmanlike conduct/foul in a game c. The technical committee has the power to disqualify any player/s that may cause detrimental values to the tournament. d. In case of fights, every player involved will be automatically banned from the tournament. A fight means: someone who has thrown a punch or kick an opponent or other physical contact that is not related to basketball. The officials and the technical committees still have the final decision. VI. GAME STOP PROCEDURE 1. If a game is stopped due to unavoidable circumstances like power failure, bad weather condition and render the court is not unplayable. a. If the match is in progress is stopped in the 1st or 2nd period, the game shall be reset to a new game with another playing date. The score will be back to zero and the time will be reset. NOTE: PLAYERS WHO ARE NOT AROUND/PRESENT DURING THE MATCH WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY DURING THE RESCHEDULED GAME. b. If the game was stopped in the 3rd, 4th or overtime period, the game will be resumed to another playing date adopting the score and the remaining time of the game when it was stopped. NOTE: PLAYERS WHO ARE NOT AROUND/PRESENT DURING THE MATCH WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY DURING THE RESCHEDULED GAME. VII. “Decision of the committee & referee shall & will be final”
