WCHE NEWS - Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan has been named Chairman of the Intelligence Committee for the region’s High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area program. The program coordinates law enforcement efforts from federal, state, and local departments to fight high-level drug trafficking and the violence associated with it. The regional chapter of the program covers Chester, Delaware, and Philadelphia Counties, as well as Camden County in New Jersey. Hogan said, “I deeply appreciate our federal and local law enforcement partners entrusting the Chester County District Attorney’s Office with this position. HIDTA gives us the tools to take the fight to the criminals and keep our law-abiding citizens safe”. The program’s Executive Director, Jeremiah Daley, credited Hogan’s experience and leadership as a federal and local prosecutor for helping to advance the program’s capacity to bolster efforts of the region’s law enforcement community.
