WCSC 2014 Official Final Ranking Dear coaches, speedskating friends, Tradionally on the last Sunday of the season, after the 1500m ladies, the winner of our coaching game was known: Dragan, from Serbia. After his 7nd place in 2012 this is his first win in the competition. He receives the virtual Prof. Nils Lid Hjort Trophee. The 2nd place is for Elliott Nelson (44 last year) from Canada and the bronze goes to Norway; Arild NE(rvik). We hope that this medal means something for Norwegian speedskating. No Dutch coaches on the podium this year (for the first time since 2007. Joe Gier (USA) (also 4th last year and 3rd in 2011 and 2001, 5th in 1999 and 2000) lost his medal in the last weekend by a few points because Arild had the money left to put Denis Yuskov on the 1500m and the win of Nauta on the 5K. We, the organizing team (Kees, Yvonne, Carool, Tom and Paul) would welcome any comments, suggestions for improvements and compliments ;-) for this game, that has been running for 15 years now.
