WDKN and The One FM will be broadcasting live from The Dickson County Help Center on Thursday for the second annual Hope-A-Thon to benefit the assistance agency. Last years campaign raised more than $20,000, which a local family then matched to double the funds raised. Help center Executive Director Renee Boehm said once again the local family has pledged to match dollar for dollar up to $20,000 that is raised this month to support the centers missions, meaning the center again has the potential to add $40,000 in donations to help needy families. Boehm said the family has asked to remain anonymous. WDKN and The One FM will broadcast live from the help center at 103 West College St. 9 am-5 pm Thursday. Supporters can call in pledges of any amount at 441-0076 during the Hope-A-Thon.
