WE ARE AS WELL CAPABLE OF SUCCEEDING As bonafide citizens of Malawi, we are all at liberty to do any business of our wish so long as its legal. Yes, weare capable of runing and managing any business of our choice. We can operate a business as a sole trader. We can run a business in form of a partnership; two or more people. Better still, we can establish a private company altogether. It is disheartening to see most of the shops being run by foreigners. Its a fact, foreigners have monopolized the business fraternity in Malawi. Most of the shops in major cities are owned and managed by foreigners; Burundians, Nigerians, Amwenyes, and Congorians just to name but a few. Sometimes i pause and ask myself, Why do we fail to do the same?. We fail to emulate such people, reason?. We fear taking risks. We fear losing our money. We fear being ridiculed if the business fails. We fear the unknown. But be reminded, The greatest risk one can take in life is not taking the risk. It is unshakable fact, most foreigners are brave and risk takers. They risk their resources by investing in a business. They look beyond where our ordinary eyes can see. They explore business opportunities in Malawi. Being foreigners, i believe motivates them to work around the clock so as to make ends meet. At the end of the day, they succeed. We can as well succeed if learn to take risks. We are capable of making it in this life if we sacrifice the little we have by investing into ė
