The 6000 square foot facility is fully equipped with the latest in OEM diagnostic electronics and equipment to ensure only the best in quality service. AST Inc. is looking for an individual that has the experience and passion for working on European vehicles, and other types of import or domestic vehicles. We specialize mainly in VW, Audi, and BMW. •Must have a valid Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification •Must have a valid driver’s license and provide a driver’s abstract •Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and be a team player •Maintain records of maintenance performed, parts and supplies used •Must be physically capable of performing job duties •Good time management skills with attention to detail •Works well under pressure and tight deadlines •Knowledge of using Mitchell on Demand is an asset but not required •A high level of motivation, energy and strong customer service skills are also required •Must have own tools with own tool box Responsibilities: •Diagnoses and repairs to shop specifications •Assisting other mechanic(s) in performing technical activities •Advise and explain to customers on work performed, general vehicle conditions and future repair requirements •Check motors that are running, road test motor vehicles, and test automotive systems and components using testing devices to find the problem in the vehicle •Change, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems, including fuel, brake, steering and suspension systems, transmissions, differentials, drive axles and shafts, emission control and exhaust systems, engines and electrical, cooling and climate control systems by using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment •Continuously wants to learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay up to date with rapidly changing automotive industry •Maintains an organized, neat and safe work area What Can You Expect From Us? - We offer a competitive salary and employee bonus incentives - A growing business with flexibility for requested vacation time - Supplementary paid continuing education courses and training when applicable Email us @ [email protected]
