WE CAN HAVE CHRIST FRIENDSHIP. If you desire to see Christ, u must grow, increase & make progress in up taking, conforming & complying to His nature, personality, temperament, spirit, will & strength of mind. U must be ur self, the power of the spirit, into blending & merging with Christ desires, motives, and plans of action, then u will be favoured with His presence & company. This calls for consistency in living & lifestyle. Remember, u can really have His presence. His promise is Lo, I am with u always. His promise is as true as ever. He delights to be with us. If He does not come, it is because we hinder Him by our indifference, unresponsiveness, apathy, lack of interest, lack of concern & coldness. He will reveal Himself in answer to our earnest prayers, and graciously put up with being detained by our entreaties, and by our tears, for these r the golden chains which bind Jesus to His people. The Lord Jesus is in the midst of His church, He walks among the golden candlestick. He is as surely with us now as He was the disciples at the lake, when they saw coals of fire, and fish laid thereon & bread. He will be with us not in the flesh but still in real truth, Jesus is with us. And a blessed truth it is, for where Jesus is, love become inflamed. Of all the things in the world that can set the heat burning, there is nothing like the presence of Jesus. A glimpse of Him so overcome us, we are ready to say, Turn away Thine eyes from me, for they have over come me. Even the smell of aloes & the myrrh, and the cassia, which drop from His perfumed garments, causes the sick and the faint to grow strong. If we lean our head for a moment on that gracious shoulder, and receive His Divine love into our poor cold hearts, we shall no longer be cold, but glow like serephs, become equal to every labour, and capable of every suffering. If we that Jesus is with us, every power will be developed, and every grace will be strengthened, then we shall cast ourselves in the Lords service with heart, and soul, and strength, therefore is the presence of Christ to be desired above all things. His presence will be most realised by those who are most like Him. Friends, this is what it means by being BORN AGAIN.
