WE CAN REJOICE . . . Although today has been difficult in so many ways, it has also become a day when we can rejoice in Cheryls mothers graduation from this life to a place where there is no more suffering, sickness, or heartbreak. Elouine, Cheryls beloved mom and my sweet mother-in-law, was such an inspiring, wonderful and kind woman—a precious and gentle soul with a servants heart. Of course well miss her greatly in coming days, but we can also rest in knowing that she is now with her Savior. And she is happy. Cheryl and I are so extremely thankful for our friends and family. Thank you for your outpouring of love and concern over the last week. And thank you for the hundreds of encouraging Facebook posts. We also received kind and uplifting inbox messages and personal emails, phone calls, sweet cards, and beautiful flowers. Our church family, although few in number, worked tirelessly shopping, preparing and serving our family. They brought all kinds of food to my father-in-laws home Friday, and then provided refreshments for us before the funeral, and a huge, wonderful dinner at the church after services. Such selflessness from so many, with an outflowing of love. Words cannot begin to express our deep gratitude. We thank you and we appreciate you all. May God bless you.
