Now this: The Three Blue Ducks team are spreading their wings to run a Woodstock style farm and restaurant in Byron Bay, with the notion that putting healthy things into your body should be a tasty and pleasant experience. What you need to know: * They’re looking for an Operations Manager to be trained up in their Bronte Restaurant and to be living in Byron Bay by December/January for the launch. * Experience at a Management level is essential. * An appreciation for good food and drink. * Must lead a healthy lifestyle and enjoy working in a team of like-minded people. Side note: Did we mention there’s an abundance of hot guys? About Three Blue Ducks Byron Bay: * The farm is five kilometres north-west of Byron Bay, the collaborative project with local farmer Will Cotterill will cover more than 30 hectares. * Dubbed a ‘kitchen garden on steroids’ it’s the equivalent of six to eight football fields set aside to grow produce for the 100-seat restaurant being built in agricultural land. * Naturally, there will be pigs, cows and 1,500 chickens for organic generation. * Everyone’s favourites: strawberries, blueberries, avocados, ginger. * Did we mention there’s a cheese factory? Relax. There’s plenty of time for sampling. * There are also plans for a sideline business in cut flowers. * Tea production is also being explored.
