~WE INK DEEP (Poets)~ Everything that we say come from a place of pain, shame, longing, craving, desire, hate, rage, fear, happiness, love and triumph We write from every angle of our hearts From the pits of our stomachs From the many files within our minds Yea we dig deep inside To expose ourselves to a notebook To a microphone To an ear To social media Risking judgments and criticisms In hopes of feeding famished souls That are dying of starvation and dont even know Yea we ink deep To bless the angry with peace To end internal wars To fill voids that swallow cores To slay self-destructive beast Yea we ink deep... Not just for ourselves But for every person living in a personal hell Our minds weep... Yes We cry upon these blank sheets We shake when the pen and paper grind...Yes We scream upon these blue lines We break ourselves up piece by piece We make confessions and unlock secrets So we all could be free...
