WE LEFT OUR FOSTER, MEADOW WITH OUR VET for the afternoon as they are administering IV fluids. She had a high fever of 106. He is doing a full work up on her with a complete blood panel to determine if there is something viral going on & to test for all cat diseases. He feels it is definitely some type of infection & checked her structurally to see if she hurt herself jumping off the tv the other night. She is okay, nothing wrong in that department. He does feel the lab reports should give us an idea of what is going on with the little girl & when I queried how she would catch it as never outside & all our cats are healthy, he indicated it is airborne. Thats it for now regarding Meadow. He likes the fact that she is eating a little & her bowels are normal. AS TO SHUGAR, she has what I thought she would have & that is a bad allergy so she got an injection that should last for a few weeks & some medication we have to give her every 3 days. Her bill was reasonable, only $43.00 as he didnt charge us for an office visit. Now, Meadows bill, look out, which we will get when we pick her up around 5 oclock. Now, Happers is not going to the shelter as worn out from the heat as cant have the a/c on in the car as there is something going on with it that will stall the car, turn off the radio, cause the car to lurch when started up again, when at a light. Next week to the mechanic. Getting busy around here! Now, for some breakfast....
