WE NEED VOLUNTEERS Let us know if you are able to help! It’s very easy to volunteer for Gods Closet. We will begin setting up and sorting at 9:00am on Thursday, February 5th, for our EVENT which is Friday February 6 form 9-1 It’s the day, when we get to take all of our donations out of our storage room and sort them. Donations are sorted by size and by gender. We are only interested in keeping clothing that are free of tears, stains and not soiled so we need lots of assistance to help us go through every item and place them on tables. There are a few RULES for volunteering that we highly appreciate each volunteer respecting. 1.-You are ONLY welcome to shop AFTER you are finished volunteering. If, while you are sorting donations, you find something you would like to keep for yourself, you may set it aside. However, it is not allowed to come to volunteer but end up shopping instead. Thats unacceptable, and there is to be no shopping out of the storage area. 2.-Minimum of 1 hour of work is REQUIRED. In order to be able to shop, volunteers must donate a minimum of one hour of their time. You may stay and help for as long as you wish. 3.-We offer one bag of free childrens clothes to all volunteers, for every hour worked up to four. We provide the bags. You may bring your own but they must be regular grocery shopping bags. Any other size bag(s) is unacceptable. THIS RULE CAN’T BE BROKEN. Thank you! 4.-Children are always welcome at GC. However, we would prefer if you found childcare. So much more gets done AND faster when our little ones are absent! Nevertheless, we understand if you are unable to find child care and you will never be turned away because of it. At this time, we do not provide childcare. Children must be supervised by parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) at all times while at Gods Closet Set Up Day. 5.-Please do not show up and begin to shop. Thats not appreciated and its not allowed. 6.-If you volunteer on the 5th unfortunately you will not be allowed to return on Friday the 6th to shop again. We consider that double dipping! And thats not cool with us :) 7.-The ministry of God’s Closet will not be responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen personal items while volunteering for God’s Closet. 8.-You will need to sign in once you arrive. WE THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR ADHERING TO OUR VOLUNTEER POLICIES. EVERYONE is welcomed to volunteer at Gods Closet. We look forward to seeing many volunteers on Thursday February 5th. We cant do this without your help. So we say…many thanks to you! YOU are essential in order for us to accomplish this ministry... If you have donations and you would like to support us this way, please feel free to bring them with you on the 5th when you come to volunteer. If you prefer you may drop them off at an earlier date to the drop box behind our location (Spokane Central Seventh-day Adventist Church fellowship hall, 804 W.
