WE NEED YOUR LADDER RISE TOGETHE ALLENTOWN ladder collection begins The Allentown Art Museum is pleased to announce the launch of “Rise Together Allentown,” a community-based sculptural project coordinated and executed by artist Charlie Brouwer. The project aims to engage residents, businesses, and organizations in Allentown and the greater Lehigh Valley by asking them to lend their ladders to construct a temporary installation in Allentown’s Arts Park, located at Fifth and Linden Streets across from the Museum. The sculpture will be completed on Saturday, September 13, at 1:30 p.m., followed by a celebration that stretches from the PPL Center along Arts Walk to Arts Park and includes activities by the Baum School of Art, Community Music School, Allentown Symphony Association, Liberty Bell Museum, Civic Theatre of Allentown, and Youth Education in the Arts.
