WE TEACH & TRAIN PEOPLE HOW TO TREAT US If we tolerate antagonistic attitudes, boisterous behavior, crude comments, reckless remarks, or anything that is said or done to diminish our worth, then it is time to nip it in the bud and re-train. Each semester I tweak my syllabus based on the students who will be taking the course. While I remain true to the content and curriculum, the adjustment is done to ensure that what is being delivered will be beneficial to the recipients. In the same way we must be careful to ensure that people don’t feel they have the right to belittle, undermine or diminish us. It may mean they need to be taught or re-trained and that could very well mean we need to have a conversation, careful confrontation or a deliberate separation. We must not complain about things we choose to tolerate if we are not willing to adjust the lessons and the training accordingly. We all deserve to be treated with proper care and dignity!! ~Teach them well~ ~Re-train when necessary~
