WEATHER ADVISORY NO.2 FOR: LOW PRESSURE AREA (LPA) ISSUED AT: 11:00 AM, 04 AUGUST 2013 At 8 am today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was in the vicintiy of Mactan, Cebu (10.0˚N, 123.9˚E) and is embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ). these weather systems are expected to bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms in Palawan, Visayas and regions of Zamboanga peninsula Northern Mindanao, ARMM and SOCCSKSARGEN which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. Residents are advised to take all the necessary precautionary measures. The next update will be incorporated in the public weather forecast at 5:00 pm today while the next advisory will be issued at 11:00 am tomorrow. | via @dost_pagasa
