GENERAL SITUATION: The anticyclone to the south east of the mascarenes is causing moist and perturbed airstream to flow over our region. FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 24 HOURS: Partly cloudy to cloudy tonight with showers, moderate at times mainly over the highgrounds. Fog patches will be present in some places. The minimum temperature will be between 18 and 21 degrees Celsius over the central plateau and between 22 and 24 degrees Celsius elsewhere. Showers will persist tomorrow but will gradually become more frequent and locally heavy in the afternoon. The maximum temperature will be between 23 and 26 degrees Celsius over the highgrounds whereas over the coastal regions it will vary between 28 and 31 degrees Celsius. Wind east south easterly 30 to 35 km/h with gusts reaching 65 km/h in places. Sea rough beyond the reefs. Ventures in the open sea are not advised. High Tides: 21h01 and tomorrow 04h56.
