WED PM UPDATE FOR MAR 25-26: CANADIAN/EUROPEAN ENSEMBLES NOW SHOW MAJOR EAST COAST WINTER STORM. Here is the Euro Ensemble depiction from 12Z Wednesday run, showing RIDGE FIRMLY OVER BOISE ID...THAT IS NOT MOVING...What is moving is the location of the low, mainly because the model simply can NOT resolve the location YET...under 144 hours it MAY start to. Shown below are the Ridge axis over Boise, and DEEP eastern US trough axis , with the model suite showing the low off the East coast. NOW , the what are the 2 X means...DOS EQUIS? NO, that is where 25 members of the euro have the low OFF VA capes, the other 26 south of Cape cod. STILL NO FORECAST BUT THE THREAT OF A LARGE MULTI STATE IMPACTING WINTER STORM FOR THE NORTHEAST TO MID ATLANTIC IS INCREASING BASED ON GOOD AGREEMENT FROM EURO/CANADIAN collection. THE PIECE OF GARBAGE GFS MODEL IS STILL CLUELESS AS USUAL. Sorry, meant 4:23 pm.
