He Is A Pastor And He Concentrates More On His Ministry Than Me, I Mean We Don’t Eat, Sleep, Talk, Pray Or Walk Together. There Is No Love In The House. I Dare Not Touch Him In Public Else He Will Shout At Me. I Am Frustrated Now, Almost Seeing Why He Married Me. I Strongly Believe He Married Me To Be His Childrens Mother And Not A Wife. Please What Should I Do ‘Cos My Parents Are Against Divorce And I’m Getting Tired. ANSWER: My Dear Sister, Whenever I Answer Any Question Related To Married Couples, I’m Very Careful To Follow The Leading Of The Holy Spirit ‘Cos Far It Be From Me To Put Asunder What Our Lord God Almighty Has Joined Together And Your Marriage Is Not Even Up To A Year Old! Since God, In Settling Our Cases, Begins Work First In Our Hearts, I’ll Focus On You. Was There A Period Of Courtship Before You Both Got Married? If There Was, Didn’t You Notice These Things – Not Talking, Walking, Praying And Even Eating Together? Or Were You Busy Preparing For A One-Day Wedding? You See, Courtship Or The Period Of Engagement Is Not Just For Play But A Time To Really Watch To See If Indeed You Can Marry Both The Strengths And Weaknesses That Make Up That Man! That Your Husband Concentrates More On His Ministry Than You Is A Digression From God’s Original Pattern But If You’re Willing, God Can Correct That Digression Through Your Prayers, Humility And Submission To Him As Your Husband And Head. God’s Original Pattern For Everyone Is This: GOD>>>>MARRIAGE/FAMILY>>>>MINISTRY. Once This Pattern Is Swapped, Problems Immediately Arise Because Love For And Devotion To God MUST Takes Precedence {Matt .22:38}, Followed By Love For Others Of Which Your Husband/Wife And Children Are Closest To You{Matt.22:39} And Then, That Which We Are Called By God To Do Follows Last {Judges4:4} – Deborah, A Prophetess {Relationship With God}, The Wife Of Lappidoth {Marriage/Family} Was Leading Isreal {Ministry}… Now I Will Use Proverbs 14:1 Which Says “The Wise Woman Builds Her House, But With Her Own Hands The Foolish One Tears Hers Down” To Speak To You. Do You Want To Build Your Home? Then First Of All Remove Every Thought Of Divorce From Your Heart And Mind And Focus On Building Your Home. Once You’re Doing The Will Of God With ALL YOUR HEART And Asks God For Anything According To His Will, HE WILL DO IT! So Remove Every Thought Of Yourself And Prayerfully Go To Work On Your Husband. Choose To Stop Seeing His Faults. Did I Say Your Husband Has No Blame? NO! But If You Love And Pray Correctly For Him, That Man Doesn’t Stand A Chance – He Will Love You – He’ll Start Sleeping, Eating, Talking And Walking With You And He’ll Desire Your Touch Again But IT’S ALL UP TO YOU. Will You Fight For Your Marriage? I Believe You Will So I Pray For You For The Determination, Courage And A Victorious Testimony On How You Stooped To Win And Snatch Your Husband From The Devil’s Plot To Scatter Your Family, As You Fight This Battle God’s Way In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
