WEEK 8 SUNDAY Today is SUNDAY.....the last day your Airman will see you of this Graduation weekend, ......the last day that hell lay down his head on THAT pillow of his Basic Training bed, ......the last day with the majority of his first set of new military family members, and ......the last day without his/her phone. As ANNIE sang in the Broadway movie & musical, The sunll come out......tomorrow......Tomorrow.... Tomorrow is just a day away. Thats right.....tomorrow your Airman will start another bright, new, inspiring adventure of his new Air Force career! They will be learning LOTS AND LOTS of new career driven skills in a verrrrry short amount of time. Their life will still be very organized, but now with the ability to call or text ya when THEY get time. Please remember just THAT......when THEY have time...... between school and studying and other odd jobs they might be called upon to do. Knowing that they were ALLOWED was the best gift this Mom could have ever been given; that WAS my graduation gift from BMT. I looked forward to the Monday after BMT :) So, with that bein said, when you drop them off today, I know it may feel like another goodbye and give ya those achy feelins in your heart all over again, but just remember.......its not goodbye.....its see ya soon....
