WELL DONE LepiMAPpers!!!! We have reached 40000 records submitted through the Virtual Museum website (vmus.adu.org.za/)!! This great milestone of 40000 excludes bulk uploads, and VM records that arrived by email in the early years, and are only the records that have been submitted via the Virtual Museum data upload tool. You should all feel very proud of yourselves for this awesome achievement! Thank you to each and every one of you that has contributed to LepiMAP!! :) We appreciate your support and enthusiasm beyond measure. The total number of records in the LepiMAP database stands at 373236 - this includes all the specimen records of butterflies for the SABCA project (butterfly conservation assessment), plus the Virtual Museum records that arrive via the bulk upload system. ~ Megan Loftie-Eaton
