WERE GONNA MAKE IT WITH DAD UPDATE: (Chronicling Our faith the Size of a Mustard Seed) A quiet day for dad. He was a little bored. His 2nd radiation treatment is down and 8 more to go. Expecting Dad to discharged from the hospital on Friday and then they will move over to a place called Beckys House which is a place for families to stay who are going through long term treatment. Mom and Dad will have their own room there together with a shuttle that will run them back and forth for treatments. He misses his brother and sisters as theyve gone home. Please feel free to visit tomorrow if youd like. Tonight when we left, he had a pretty bad headache from the radiation but they were going to give him some pain meds for that. I do ask if he looks like he doesnt feel well then please do not stay long. But him just seeing faces shining with smiles bring him so much joy and also breaks up the monotony of thinking cancerous thoughts. :/ Cant believe that on September 19th, MOM and DAD will have been MARRIED for FIFTY YEARS!!! So thankful that we celebrated their anniversary back in May of this year. We had an absolutely wonderful time on North Captiva Island! So many memories. God provided so much beauty and laughter during our time there. Will post wedding pics on Friday
