WETLANDS! Congratulations to all participants in Crown - TopicsExpress

WETLANDS! Congratulations to all participants in Crown Qualifications, both winners and losers. This was a really great campaign, and Im looking forward to seeing the Wetlands continue to Non Sigimus into the future. I will be working on my buckle-swashing, keel-hauling, and general yaar!-ing for the upcoming reign. Its going to be awesome. Now: I have heard people complain about moderation (or lack thereof). Its been a tricky subject for me because moderating forums are a delicate balance. Too much moderation, and people start to complain about the man keeping them down, and ZOMG CENSORSHIP CONSPIRACY. Too little moderation, and assclowns and general hooligans start...well, being assclowns and hooligans. Then there are issues on who you pick to be moderators. Will they have the same ideas and opinions regarding moderation as I do? Will they know what to let slide, and what to come down on? Ultimately, I think Ive come up with a solution that solves all the problems. In the spirit of the theme for this reign, I decided to throw the Kingdom officers under the bus. From now on, I will be making all current Kingdom-level officers Moderators of this Forum. I will remain as the Group Owner, and will be adding and removing moderators during reign changes (or if there are sudden and unexpected vacancies...like that EVER happens). SO. It will be their responsibility to moderate the forums/this Facebook group. They can do so as they see fit. If you dont like how they moderate the group...dont elect them as officers next time. Since we still have three weeks until Coronation, I have made Justin Meyer, Shady, Jeremy Garcia, Jason Lewis, and Glen MalletofProvidence moderators. After Coronation, they will either remove themselves as moderators (or I will), and Ill swap them out with the next group. Good luck, Moderators, and keep on doing great, Wetlands!
