WHAT A GREAT REMINDER TODAY...GOD takes pleasure on his people, for he BEAUTIFY the afflicted with his salvation. Was your past an ugly one. Have you been bothered and afflicted by how your past look like. THIS IS THE GREATEST NEWS FOR ME THIS MORNING...He BEAUTIFY US BY HIS SALVATION. WE BECAME BEAUTIFUL when he saved us...King David an avid lover of Jesus. His life was marked by many things. He messes up, he make wrong decisions, He sinned, He killed, people was after his life, he runs for his life, he was cheated by others, hated by others, he fell in immorality, you can name it, he had been there and done it all. But what keep him moving forward and always praising. It wasnt because he glory in his past, but glory in the goodness of the Lord... In this Psalms, he said...THE LORD TAKES PLEASURE IN HIS PEOPLE: HE WILL BEAUTIFY THE AFFLICTED ONES WITH SALVATION. I was so encouraged by this thoughts of David...the Lord takes pleasure in his people. If you belong to the Lord, this is a very uplifting verse. My Lord takes pleasure in me. He BEAUTIFIES me with his salvation. He cleanse me, wipe my slate clean. He turns the ashes in my life into beauty. He gives me the oil of JOY for mourning and the garment of PRAISE for the spirit of Heaviness. This is a powerful exchange. This is why David said, to praise the Lord. It wasnt because of what David did, but because, GOD TAKES PLEASURE on him. And through his SALVATION makes him beautiful. Praising the Lord is a response of a beautified heart. Cant be silent. The greatest miracle that ever happens is when he saved us through salvation. This is why King David responded...Praise the Lord, with a new song, be glad in your maker, rejoice in your king. Praise HIM WITH DANCING. Use the Timbrel and the lyre...Exult in glory, sing for JOY on your beds. And so on, and on. How amazing Davids praise came because of what God has done. You and I have been beautified with Jesus Salvation. We were afflicted, but now beautify, because of his favor. Thank you Lord for all that you have done for us. Thank you for your favor and beautifying our souls with your salvation. Let us never forget your favor Lord...Amen! (Psalms 149:1--9)
