WHAT A MIRACLE ! Early morning of Saturday, the 6th day of our newly arrived baby girl. Looking onto her face, I was excited, that today was the day she would be given a name and I would call her by that name. But by what name? I had left that decision to my Master Dada J.P. Vaswani. What name would he give her? Would He even agree to? Sleep overcame me & I rolled into deep sleep. And suddenly I find myself at the door of my Master at His retreat far away. I am ushered into His room. I look around. He was looking at me. He you name her Noorie. He also gave the spelling of the name Noorie As I was about to exclaim something, I found myself back rolling in my sheets instead. It had gotten late. I hugged my baby goodbye and rushed to the Maha Mritunjaya Mantra session at the Mission. Would my Master oblige? Hmm, Noori name sounded so cool - the pen-name of the Great Master Sadhu Vaswani. Dada graced the havan session in the sacred Kutiya. At the end, He did not seem to leave, as if He had an unfinished task to take care of. He announced to the gathering that Im blessed with a Baby Girl & then proceeded to give Kharchi (pocket money) to the gathering on behalf. I was amazed at His LOVE. I mustered up enough courage to ask for a name for the newly born. With the same smile that I had just seen in my dream, he said, Noorie Still reeling from this mercy of my Master, I described the dream and the room I had seen to my Guru-sister who serves Dada. She replied, What a miracle. That is exactly Dadas residence room you saw in the dream! What a miracle indeed. Beloved Dadas parting words, as a message, for the baby was - Noori Thij na Kuri; Thij Santan Ji Samuri! (Noori, be not untrue, be of The Saints through & through) Still reeling under overwhelming gratitude to my Master, I rushed back to my baby, excited to call her by a name now....
