WHAT A TANGLED WEB WE WEAVE! In both pictures below, you see an interaction of the forces of the universe, one of them on a grander scale. The force is not uniform, some of it tends to go in one direction, neighboring forces go in different directions, and the spaces in between are relatively stagnant. Those forces would be quantitatively uniform.
