WHAT ABOUT THE DUST? The battle we fight in this world is not - TopicsExpress

WHAT ABOUT THE DUST? The battle we fight in this world is not for God to release our inheritances, but for Satan to take his hands off our resources. God is not trying to bless us because in reality, He already has, it is the devil that is trying to keep our blessings. The bible says we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. And in different occasions Ive read in scriptures that these forces are right beneath my feet. You may wonder, if they are beneath my feet, why do i need to wrestle with them? I guess the answer is simple; the sand of the ground is beneath your feet, but somehow it produces dust that stains your legs, shoes, clothes, and other properties. The only way you wont attract dust is when you live in an environment where there is no element that produces dust. These dusts are in form of these spiritual forces that rise against man. They dont need to be invited, as long as you work on the road youd surely attract dust. So also, as long as you are a Christian youd surely attract these forces. Dust is a very light stain, you dont need so much effort to wash it off. So also is the devil and his cohorts, you dont need all the power in heaven to overcome them, as long as you have understanding! Job said when i am faced with tribulation and pain, i shall laugh. Habakkuk said though the fig tree may not blossom... Though i may not have anything to show, i will yet praise God. Jehosaphat appointed praisers to sing to God in the face of battle! Esther wore a garment of praise when the life of her people were about to be taken. Im just trying to show you how people who were faced with real battles responded to these battles. They were all rejoicing; you dont need to frown your face over dust, do you? All you need to do is wash it away with water. And we understand from Ephesians 5:26 that the word of God is the water that sanctifies. So when you see the devil operating around you, wash him away with the word of God! God is the One who sets the rule and the One who enforces it. And one of His rules says He will never leave nor forsake you. That also means even if the devil succeeds in knocking you down, God will not declare the winner until you win. He is the Umpire of the battle, and He is for you! So dont stay down, rise and fight the battle till you win. The battle is not for whoever wins, its until you win. Its not over until youve won! Many times people are afraid of the devil; but in reality, he is afraid of us. We are the ones with the power. Jesus stripped Satan of his authority and his power in the bowels of this earth. The bible says Jesus spoiled principalities and powers and made a show of them openly (Col 2:15), and He took the keys of death, hell and the grave from him (Rev 1:18). Jesus told His disciples that all power is given unto Him in heaven and in earth(Matt 28:18), and then He instructed them to go into the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature. Cast out devils. Lay hands on the sick and they shall recover(Mark 16:15-18). So we are the ones with power! Therefore, rise up and cast out the dust! I think i should stop here! May God give us understanding! Inspired By: The Holy Spirit
