WHAT ARE YOU SEEING AHEAD....... Whatever gets into your mind and stays there will eventually come into your hand. Without vision your past may become attractive or a new or only option. You must see first on the inside what you desire to see on the outside. Efficacy of faith depends on the clarity and accuracy of vision. The bible says, ‘lack of vision results in perishing.’ Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. Prov. 29:18 Whenever visions are blurry, people are either confused or they walk in confusion and end up in accidents or nowhere. Your vision must be played around your head daily. Being conscious of your vision, God will bring opportunities to fulfill them. The Lord took Abraham out to see, in order to visualize his faith. You need to see within to strengthen your faith. And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. Genesis 15:5 Why did God have to do that seeing that He had on two occasions in Gen. 12 & 13 already promised Abraham a seed?.....Did Abraham really believe then ?. I dont think so.... In chapter 15:1, even after the Lord said to him...I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward; Abrahams response in vs 2 was................ seeing I go childless,............And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed:.......... Wow !.....no seed Abraham !!.... I thought he had a promise !!! Yes..he heard the word of promise but his vision and focus was still on his physical reality...God needed to change that, hence God took him on a new vision ride, and after that Abraham saw by God the promised destiny in vs 5, the bible says in vs 6 ....And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness. Now he believed...!!! And did you not notice after this experience Abraham was able to keep the vision alive for another 13 years; but now without wavering, staggering and no more seeing himself as childless. His faith was strengthened by vision. ( Rom.4:19-21) The extent to which you can possess your inheritance in Christ depends on how much you can see with your eyes of understanding. Check out another of Abrahams experience in Gen.13 And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. Gen. 13:14-15 Yes, the eyes of your understanding must be enlightened through meditation on the word. (Eph. 1:18). Meditation creates a clear picture of the word, your destiny or desire in your spirit. We don’t just read the scriptures, we look into them, we see with them. ( Psalms 119:130) The Lord told Jeremiah, “…….Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. See, I have this day set thee over the nations……….” Jer. 1:9-10 The word of God in your mouth as a meditation tool opens up the eyes of your understanding, and creates in your spirit the substance of what you are believing God for. A man of faith is a man of great imagination and clear vision derived from consistent meditation on the word. Beloved, what are you seeing ahead of you? Its been concluded and wrapped up in Christ... May your eyes of understanding be enlightened to see clearly what portion of your inheritance is set aside for your enjoyment in Christ Jesus name.
