WHAT CAN I SAY? .... tears, swelling in my throat, gathering my memorial book to go see family, and crying out to my Daddy God. It is possible to have a heart that loves so many, A heart that aches for law enforcement families and departments so deeply. A heart that has been wounded like this before and the pain is deep. A heart that swells with pride and admiration for how all (deputies, peer, and chaplains, coroner, medical staff) all worked together to do the right things for the families and their friends, and quite frankly, cut the red tape in doing so. A heart delighted that they got the Evil guy before the sun went down. A heart that is amazed every time seeing Gods presence, His comfort and peace. A heart that remembers that our God Reigns, and He is in control. Father God, I ask today to surround Your warriors, their families, and all of us who love them. Provide Your comfort because it feels unbearable at times. Provide your Peace when there seems to be chaos in our thoughts. Grant protection over those who are in harms way today, keep them focused and let them hear from Your crowd- we are sorry, we appreciate you. Amen.
