WHAT COULD BE MORE UNFAIR AND UNJUST? Even though there have never been any gubernatorial zoning arrangement in Rivers State PDP since the return of Democratic rule in 1999 and before it, in any other political party that has held power in the state since its creation in 1967. However, the #NEWRiversVision, aside its manifesto that would be launched later, is presenting itself for election into the office of the Governor in 2015 on the basis that it has the capacity with a formidable political machinery/structure on ground to wrest power from the formidable APC in Rivers state and massively develop it beyond whats obtainable today. However, ever since Wike made his ambition known, there has been serious disagreement from some quarters especially from the 16 PDP aspirants, who are also referred to as: Rivers Mainstream Coalition. They have been busy playing the ethnic card asking that Wike be disqualified from exercising his right to be voted for on the basis that another ikwerreman is about to complete an 8 year tenure. Evidently, more than half the size of the aggrieved aspirants hails from Kalabari Kingdom - a sub ethnic group of the larger Ijaw tribe. I am not a tribal chauvinist, as I was groomed to detest it. I have severally evaded responding to some line of thoughts that would make one to start thinking towards that angle. I have the utmost respect and regard for every ethnic groups in Nigeria no matter how small in size. However, in the light of the present political reality in Rivers State and how some politicians are now whiping up tribal sentiments because the tide happens not to be in their favor or so it seems, it has become imperative to expose certain political abnormalities, inequity and injustice which other sections of the state have had cause to endure in the allocation of wards and elective positions these past years. KALABARI KINGDOM - has 33 Communities which includes hamlets and fishing settlements. It has three LGAs which are AKUKU TORU, ASARI TORU & DEGEMA with a combined 47 Wards. However, for the purpose of clarification, it has become imperative to name the communities below. AKUKU TORU LGA - 17 WARDS 1. Abonnema (13 Wards); 2. Kula (1Ward); 3. Idama (1 Ward); Soku (1Ward); Obonoma with population
