WHAT DOES SHARIAH SAY ABOUT A MAN WHO HAS JUST KILLED HIS WIFE WHILE BEATING HER ? As you all know , quran says very clearly that men must beat their wives if they do not obey their husbands. I used the word MUST because if you read the verse , it is not any kind of recommendation but it is a kind of duty. Now , suppose while a man is doing his duty ( beating his wife ) she gets killed . What does shariah say about such a man ? What is his punishment ? The answer is : ABSOLUTELY NOTHING He can go right ahead , marry another wife and after getting tired of her , beat her to death too . . WELCOME TO SHARIAH ( ISLAMIC DIVINE LAWoooh paja mumafunanso verse ana a satana inu here it is.........(Quran )38:44(وَخُذْ بِيَدِكَ ضِغْثًا فَاضْرِبْ بِهِ وَلَا تَحْنَثْ ۗ إِنَّا وَجَدْنَاهُ صَابِرًا ۚ نِعْمَ الْعَبْدُ ۖ إِنَّهُ أَوَّابٌ Shakir: And take in your hand a green branch and beat her with It and do not break your oath; surely We found him patient; most excellent the servant! Surely he was frequent in returning )to Allah(. =)( Quran )4:34(الرِّجَالُ قَوَّامُونَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ بِمَا فَضَّلَ اللَّهُ بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ وَبِمَا أَنْفَقُوا مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْ ۚ فَالصَّالِحَاتُقَانِتَاتٌ حَافِظَاتٌ لِلْغَيْبِ بِمَا حَفِظَ اللَّهُ ۚ وَاللَّاتِي تَخَافُونَ نُشُوزَهُنَّ فَعِظُوهُنَّ وَاهْجُرُوهُنَّفِي الْمَضَاجِعِ وَاضْرِبُوهُنَّۖ فَإِنْ أَطَعْنَكُمْ فَلَا تَبْغُوا عَلَيْهِنَّ سَبِيلًا ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيًّا كَبِيرًا Yusuf Ali: Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has given the one more )strength( than the other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in )the husbands( absence what Allah would have them guard. As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them )first(, )Next(, refuse to share their beds, )And last( beat them )lightly(; but if they return to obedience, seek not against them Means )of annoyance(: For Allah is Most High, great )above you all(.As you see in this verse women are asked be obedient because husband feed them and if they are not obedient then husband has the right to go through some mental and emotional abuse and at the end beat them, they do not need any reason for beating if they are just fear disloyaltythatis enough excuse to beat women!! The point is that there is absolutely no limit to how hard to beat the woman. You have no idea how many women are losing their lives ( or become injured for the rest of their lives) in islamic countries because of this .
