WHAT I OBSERVED AFTER THE GERMAN DEMOLITION OF BRAZIL 1. It was not only the Brazilians that were embarrassed by the defeat. From the way the almost all the German players after the match made it a duty to shake the hands of their victims and make small talk, it was clear even the Germans themselves were embarrassed by what they did to Brazil..the body language of the Germans was like Sorry we did this to you... 2. I only understand Portuguese only a little but Big Phil Scolari is an expressive man who talks with words and also gestures. The movement of his hands while addressing his players post match , by putting his 2 palms on his chest was clear ...I TAKE THE BLAME..... Which brings me to the third point comparison between Big Boss Stephen Keshi and Big Phil Scolari. 3. Both Keshi and Scolari have the adjective BIG attached to their names ...Big Phil Scolari and Big Boss Stephen Keshi. Keshi played 4 matches won 1 (by default as Edwin Dzekos goal was valid and it could have been a draw), drew 1, and lost 2...scored a few goals and was eliminated in Round of 16 . Scolari played 6 matches, won 5 and lost 1 the semi finals . Scolari took the blame and later said We seek forgiveness from all Brazilians. Keshi blamed everyone except himself (just like Nigerian politicians/leaders) and even said I am wanted by several countries . Even Yobo didnt find it necessary to offer an apology...difference in cultures I believe. Big Phil Scolari is BIG, Big Boss Stephen Keshi is small.
