WHAT IS THE WORTHY WOMEN RECOVERY HOME? -Provide a safe home for 14 female inmates with substance abuse addictions -Save La Porte County taxpayers $75 a day or $25,000 a year per inmate -Empower and equip them to find a job and to pay rent -Facilitate evidence-based cognitive behavior programs -Mandate GED courses and completion to further their education -Offer parenting and family related programs for restoration/reconciliation -REDUCE the recidivism (rearrest) rates in La Porte County -REDUCE the cycle of incarceration among their children “from victim to VICTORY!”
