WHAT THE !!!! Strange title, strange world in which sometimes you make your own luck. Story - On one of my recent excursions I had spotted a pair of nesting Buzzards and decided to try and photograph them. Got some bait, tied it down and put it in a recess just out of shot. Secreted myself and waited and waited. All of a sudden this chap/chapess came down. A Golden Eagle! Nearly had a heart attack. After I stopped shaking with excitement I managed a few snaps. 2 things I love about nature photography, you never, ever know whats going to happen and what you learn. As you can see in shot 1 he is well aware of my presence and I expected him to fly off but no, he turned round, shielded his lunch from a possible other predator (me) and continued to dine while still watching me. Fan - f------ tastic!
