WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THE MONKEYS AT BIODIA NOW??? News: The MEDINE group decides to SELL their monkey trade business subsidiary Biodia. Reason being: it is not profitable for their shareholders anymore. (see article in Defi-Media attached - French) - The article only talks about profit and figures. There is no mention of this decision having been made on ethical grounds or to support and invests in better scientific research. It states: Biodia often the target of the international non-profit organisation British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection faces a complex situation and is not profitable for their shareholders anymore. But: WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THE MONKEYS AT BIODIA NOW??? Will this monkey trade business just be bought up by another group such as GML owner of LCL Cynologics or maybe the pioneer of the monkey trade Mr. Owen Griffiths Bioculture Ltd. or perhaps the or Bel-Ombre Sugar Estates monkey trade Biofarms Ltd. or even the CIEL groups NOVEPRIM / Les Campêches Ltd. or Chamouny Farming Ltd??? Well if so, then nothing has changed for these captive primates destiny of torture and death for bad science. As per many scientists and doctors animal experiments for medical research will have to end sooner or later, and many companies and associations are making great progress with todays existing more modern human based studies. (Of course no human is used as a guinea pig in such modern research (unlike the animals in vivisection), the research are done with state of the art technologies, human cell based, computer models etc.) See for example latest development of the complete human organism on a chip on which effects of chemicals, new substances can be tested successfully, which also yields more safety for humans at the final clinical trials. THEREFORE, the monkeys of Biodia must be saved and rehabilitated rather than just sold off! PLEASE HELP!!! Ask MEDINE corporate and its Société de Développement Industriel & Agricole Ltée. under which Biodia falls, TO SAVE THE MONKEYS LIVES and find an ethical solution such as rehabilitation the primates in an monkey conservatory - perhaps adjoined to Gasella Nature Park (owned by the same group).
