WHATSOEVER THY HAND FINDETH TO DO, DO IT WITH THY MIGHT, FOR THERE - TopicsExpress

WHATSOEVER THY HAND FINDETH TO DO, DO IT WITH THY MIGHT, FOR THERE IS NO WORK, NOR DEVICE, NOR knowledge, NOR WISDOM IN THE GRAVE, WHITHER THOU GOEST (ECCL9:10).We must die daily to ourselves (Matt16:24).What does this mean? Dying to self means letting go of the things we love to indulge in which hinder us from a victorious walk with God,and aligning ourselves with Godly pursuits that help us lead holy lives. We need to put committment to self in the proper perspective. If we realize that we live, first for GOD and then for the people, He has given us to love we will realize that our individual "needs " and goals need to be met primarily so that God is glorified and our loved ones are supported. This mean sacrificing, time, energy and even money. It might be time to take a long look at our schedule and activities and begin to make more time for worship fellowship and charity. That hour we give away to minister to maybe a younger or less fortunate person may be the tool God uses to change that life.It maybe encouragement that person needed to stay on the right path.In giving up our resources we have died to ourselves. DYING to self does not mean that we donor take care of ourselves, it just means that we do not live selfish, self centered lives, but victoriously in Christ and for Christ.***Warrioring in the Word of God***~~~Towanda Bellamy ~~~
