WHAT’S ON MY MIND? 9/25/14 GOD PROTECTED ME!! One of my prayers daily is “Lord order my steps and establish my thoughts.” Did you know when you are trusting God oftentimes HE IS establishing your thoughts even when you don’t realize it? Yesterday, I was getting ready for work. My usual routine put on makeup, got dressed, had grabbed my bag and was headed out the door. I heard this huge boom in my house. Needless to say I am trying to figure what had just happened. Unsure of where it came from I finally located it in our Master Bathroom. I walked in and found a light bulb, and entire glass globe fixture had exploded!! The glass was literally from one end of the bathroom to another and extremely hot to the touch!! Less than 30 seconds after I left that room was when that explosion occurred!! I wonder what would have happened had I been standing there with that force of glass blasting through that space. Don’t you know I was thanking God all day for HIS PROTECTION!! In Proverbs 16:3 (Ampl.) HE says “Roll your works upon the Lord (commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His Will, and) so shall plans be established and succeed.” Did you know when you commit your thoughts to the Lord HE will establish them, even when you may be unaware? I believe my thoughts had been established to get ready at the exact moment I needed to and to walk from that room at exactly the moment I needed to!! Why? Because My Heavenly Father knew what was coming and was protecting me! You will notice the first step was to “Roll your works upon the Lord!” This word “works” is referring to actions, activity, deeds, business, labor, pursuits, achievements or an enterprise. THEN HE will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to HIS WILL and so shall your plans be established AND SUCEED!! God is saying you can begin to trust your thoughts because HE is going to cause them to be accepted and recognized, form a plan and give you the blessing of succeeding!!
