WHEN MONSTERS STRODE THE EARTH... OMG too terrible to show a child what we do to a baby... My friend asked me, What are your thoughts on letting a 5 year old watch a video of infant circumcision? Is that too young? My daughter saw me commenting on something related to RIC and asked to see what I was talking about. She knows that doctors cut babies booties, but that was the extent of it. Until tonight. She wanted to know specifically how and what they cut. So I showed her just a few seconds of a video. And OH MY GOD. SHE STARTED CRYING HYSTERICALLY. I immediately shut it off and gave her a hug. I felt so bad. She held onto me tightly and kept saying, Thank you for protecting me, Mommy. Thank you for keeping me safe. I love you. ~A friend
