WHEN THE EVENING GLOWS I stood on the gray steep hill Amidst some stiff and crackling leaves Blown off at once in the summer breeze Wafted my feet like clouds in the sky Wandered me in distraction of a fear, Sometimes I bent like a telephone pole Drawing a triangle in equal distance Me, the hill and the waning sun Sometimes like the hill deadly stiff, What an evening is twisted in my eyes The gray town can never know where I am! The hill gets crouched in darkness The stars return to their home Like small kids play a game with the moon, Nobody see me on this trackless path Except the passerby unknown to me, I alone break into darkness as I fade I could see me clearly, perfectly All alone breaking into darkness When the evening glows in me.
